Our Pastor

Rev. Job J. Cobos
Rev. Job J. Cobos was born and raised in Mexico. He comes from a family of sixteen children. He felt the call to ministry at the age of seven and started preaching at the age of fifteen. He became a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) at the age of eighteen and subsequently moved to the United States of America at the age of nineteen.
Rev. Cobos received his Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary in 2001 and received his Master of Arts from Florida Beacon Bible College in 1994. He was ordained in 1994 in Florida. Rev. Cobos is currently working on his Doctorate in Homiletics.
Rev. Cobos is the Regional Minister for Hispanic Churches in Arizona and has thirteen churches under him. He is the Founding Pastor of Templo Cristiano Central and pastor at Larkspur Christian Church. In addition, he serves as secretary for the Disciples Peace Fellowship-General Church.
Rev. Cobos’ services in two different cultures has affirmed his call to the ministry with Hispanics in the United States and with the Anglo community.
